About me

Born and raised in Brazil until the age of 11, I moved to Spain with my family and called it home for 4 years. After that, we went back to Brazil, where I finished my studies and my degree in Tourism Management. In the meantime many things happened, one of the most remarkable ones was getting a scholarship to study Tourism and Hospitality in Scotland, where I developed my passion for the English language.

In ’17 I realised Spain was the place in which I could feel more at home and happier, so I chose to come back to this beautiful country and start from scratch. I reckon this was the best choice I’ve made in the last couple of years and at the moment I cannot imagine myself living too far from the land of tortilla de patatas.

I’ve been working in the Tourism sector since ’13 (for different companies like hotels, restaurants, travel agencies/tour operators and currently for an airline) and that made me develop a different way of perceiving things when I travel. I’m always researching, analysing and trying to pay attention to the details we normally tend to ignore, like the hidden gems in a very touristic city or the service offered in a popular (but overrated) restaurant.

Another aspect that I should include here is that I am addicted to challenges. Everything that suggests a new experience, a change or something that will get me out of my comfort zone makes me really excited (like this blog :)).

Since September ’17 I’ve been travelling at least once a month to different places and here I will write about my adventures from these trips, share my favourite pictures and give you some tips you might find useful.
